co-founder of CFG Associates, Inc., Walter has more than 20 years'
experience in multi-state sales & use tax. His work in private industry has
concentrated in the areas of retail, financial, manufacturing, healthcare, restaurants,
food processors and contractors. Walter's expertise is representing clients undergoing tax
audits to insure that the tax law application, audit methods and procedures used by state
taxing authorities are fair and equitable. Where necessary, he carries tax cases through
the appeals process as well.
Walter was formerly an auditor for the North Carolina Department of Revenue and has
worked with governmental and non-profit organizations such as cities, counties and
non-profit hospitals. Walter has also shared his expertise by leading seminars relating to
sales & use tax for numerous accounting groups.
